Otello

Based on Shakespeare's Othello. The dramatic tragedy of one man's path to self-destruction is magnificently set to music in Verdi's masterpiece.

As a tempestuous storm batters the island of Cyprus, Otello's ship battles its way into port. Otello proclaims victory over the Turks and the storm, and yearns for his reunion with his beautiful bride, Desdemona. Yet, his triumph is short-lived as he becomes riddled with self-doubt and jealousy.
